Carine Doumit’s work revolves around the intrinsic relations between writing and montage. She writes and edits films, videos, installations, and performances. She writes short texts and short stories. She was a fellow resident at Arsenal Archives, Beirut Art Center, Macdowell, and Bogliasco Center.  Together with The Camelia Committee, she has produced the short film The Secret Garden, the collective exhibition At the Edge of the Forest, a Garden, and the live performance one sea, three seas. She is currently directing with Sofía Velázquez (Peru) the epistolary film Solas y Juntas.
